That’s gay. Pairing beers with food like you might with wine?

That’s that same overachieving mentality that leads to fishing celebrities in bass boats wearing matching under armor athletic clothes and setting the hook like they are trying to rip its lower jaw off.

Just enjoy whatever beer you want, with whatever you wanna eat... see?

I’ve always thought beer pairs best with salty rather than sweet.

Beer is more complex than wine, as the 'Beer Wheel below shows. There's nothing 'gay' about noticing the tastes. Of course, if you are only familiar with mass-market American beers; it's understandable why you'd think that the flavour doesn't matter. Try some craft beers for a change -- your taste buds will thank you.

That Coco-vanilla-peanutbutter-stout isn’t gonna go well with a pizza.

As for me, I kept it easy tonight.

Hazy IPA with beef ribs.

And now I’m going to have a different haze and a pretzel bagel.
