MINNEAPOLIS — Target will spend more than $2 billion at Black-owned businesses by 2025 as part of its effort to advance racial equity.
That’s a significant increase in overall spending on Black-owned businesses, according to Target, though it declined be more specific Wednesday.
The Minneapolis retailer will add a broad spectrum of products from more than 500 Black-owned businesses and will increase its spending at more Black-owned companies, in areas ranging from marketing to construction.

Target deserves what it gets.

You don’t need Target. None of us need it.
That’s not going to help them! Here’s what will: demand and require that they act like civilized human beings or NO money, no special privileges, no “affirmative action”, no “BLM”, no jessee jackson extortionist, no free college for writing “BLM” 100 times. No points added to test scores. No social promotion. No “section 8” (illiterate name for ‘social housing’.) No knockout “game” that allows street thugs to attack old White men and kill them or knock them out. No rioting when a thug is shot by a cop. No wailing and moaning that racism caused their problems. No more blaming Whitey for all their self-inflicted failures.
Well, too bad I can’t boycott Target, but I haven’t set foot in there since they banned “Merry Christmas” and the bell ringers.
Bell ringers Lives Matter.
The question is can they find enough minority businesses to do that effectively.
Also will the quality of the products be comparable to other companies, although they should.
That doesn't matter. It's time to Get Woke!

Walmart is running TV ads for “black owned” products they sell, too. Nice free advertising for those businesses.
So, how is Target going to sell that many voodoo dolls?

I wonder if these same people would refuse medical treatment from physicians that aren’t “black enough.”

They no longer talk about racial equality. Now the buzzword is equity. Equity means ownership. As in Owner’s Equity.
Be watchful for what they intend to our equity in private property.
