Right. A lot of financial institutions use voice recognition now instead of passwords. So I suppose if a scammer had a decent recording of your voice he could cause a bit of mischief.
A verbal yes on the phone, recorded and manipulated or not, is legally meaningless. Now, if you give them credit card information or send a check....

I heard they want to access your medical or medicare for their benefit. You may not find out, as opposed to credit card usage.
How do they rob you if they don’t have any financial info?
