Thanks for the ping. It doesn't take long for burned-out chaparral woodlands to regrow. But the majestic oaks take centuries.

Here's one of my favorite shots from five years ago during a magnificent wildflower bloom at Toro Park. My daughter made the wildflower bouquet while we were hiking.
