If street is cheaper...after the state taxes it, it’ll be just like prohibition...and peddled underground.

Different States have different schemes. I wonder if NY has provisions for cultivation for personal use. That seems to be a big variable in he cost of street weed. Dispensaries will probably get more of the boutique strains, which would be in demand, and unavailable on the streets, except through illicit channels from growers.

Because we don’t have enough potheads killing people on our highways now....

Because contractors need to have even more problems finding drug-free employees. ...

It’s all about the money Cuomo can generate. He said the same thing about same sex marriage...lotsa money in it.

The fools will overtax it and since it will become legal a black market will peddle it to avoid taxation. With all the Turd Worlders in Gotham they can expect that to happen for sure. The city has gone to hell anyway so weeding up the inhabitants just adds to its corrupted circus show.

The deal would allow New Yorkers over the age of 21 to legally buy and possess up to three ounces of pot for their personal use

Recreational stoners could even cultivate up to a dozen plants per household

hmmmm, a good bent plant could put you over...

dumbass combover-style repubs have been wrong on weed since day 1 and we’ve all paid dearly as the party has turned off tons of voters over this insignificant issue.

”Because we don’t have enough potheads killing people on our highways now....”

People who before legalization were responsible enough to not use pot because it was illegal, will after legalization be responsible enough to not drive high because it will remain illegal.

“Because contractors need to have even more problems finding drug-free employees. ...”

Contractors need to wise up and stop testing for weeks-ago pot use.

Whereas now NY users get it from the Pot Fairy?
