First, those numbers are bogus and pushed by our communist overlords.

Second, life years impacted, is much more important to me than total numbers of deaths. With median death of COVID higher than the median life expectancy, this is basically a flu. The death of someone that would have died within a few months anyway, is not anywhere close to the death of a 17 year old for example.
