I am a huge Tolkien fan. I first read LOTR as a young teenager and my sister and I learned runes and made maps. I wanted to live there. Maybe I should read them another time. I can’t stand news.

I was recently thinking of the statment in LOTR and I think it was Galadriel (I am not a scholar like you or Bob Ireland) which said “we are on a knife edge”.

I made the mistake of reading the Harvard Lampoon's Bored of the Rings before I read The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings. I laughed all the way through Tolkien. I still like Bored better.
