Mislabeled - that’s Louie Armstrong - it brings the tears for me and I don’t listen to it much anymore
The theme song in Vietnam was the Animals “We Gotta Get Out Of This Place”.
My running mate and my favorite song was “What a Wonderful World”.
We targeted a 7 day “out of country” R&R in Thailand over the Christmas holiday.
We took one day “in-country” R&R @ China Beach 11/30/70. I made it back.
I wasn’t going on that Thailand R&R alone.
I love and hate that song.
