I apologize for the errata in yesterday’s CG. Extra points for those who found it.
Many of you solve the CG without completing
it, ie you stop and try reading it. So, you missed the error.
Today’s CG is that type.
Try working it for about 20 seconds, stop and see what you can read, work 20 more seconds and do the same.
Words, like the author’s name, will appear, and you should solve the CG before writing out all the letters. This will reduce your time tremendously.
You should know, that I try solving all the CGs before I post them. I try to avoid transposing them, as invariably I make a mistake, like I did yesterday.
Today’s Cryptogram is from the archives, and a good one.

He is not wrong. Superfast, starting with common letter and the second word…

2:58.77 (I don't consider this a competition, I am just reporting statistics. Science!) The erratum in yesterday's puzzle was in the published copy of the Arkansas Gazette. I have an Octave script that generates substitution ciphers that are free of that "defect", whose exclusion is actually a
cryptological weakness.

About a minute and a half.
It just poured out, I didn’t even have to use my head.

Sometimes, when one is a perfectionist, they can get away with saying the ‘mistake’ was intentional so as to see who is paying attention.... HA HA
