I wonder which mountains those were in Utah. I was hiking with some friends in Zion National Park. It was getting close to sunset, and I could feel some large predator watching me. The terrain was very rocky and perfect mountain lion habitat. I made the strong suggestion to my friends that we head on back NOW, as mountain lions and such liked dusk as a hunting time. The decision was sealed when a very sudden strong storm arose and we ran down that mountain to reach the ranger station just before the rain started. That was some experience!
