As to a potential successor as radio host, I can only say that the only guest host I made a point to never miss is Mark Steyn.

I agree that Mark Steyn was one of the best, if not the best of his guest hosts. But even Steyn could not hold a candle to Rush. Unless some unknown is out there with loaned talent, there is just no replacement-one of a kind and they broke the mold.

I LOVE Mark Steyn!

Steyn is BRILLIANT!
He is different from Rush, but also brilliant in his own right and is the best choice, IMO.
I love his humor and his accent.
He is the ONLY one who can come close.
