I love fishing, but without the ice or snow. I hate cold weather.
Years ago my sister had a guy from Australia visit her in Minneapolis during the winter. He asked what all those people were doing out on the lake as they walked through the city park.
She told them they were ice fishing. He thought she was pulling his leg and made her walk way out there so he could see!
Me too. When I was little I went ice fishing at Lake Erie with my dad and brother. My brother pushed snow and slush back into the hole when we were done and I fell into the hole. Luckily it was only one leg. Never been back. I do fish almost every day now outside my door here in the Gulf of Mexico.
