I cannot recall anyone near the importance and significance of Rush in the Republican/Conservative movement who passed away. Nearly every political page, left and right has a blurb about Rush’s passing excpet the largest Republican group. I find this interesting.

Outside of Reagan (and perhaps Buckley), I can’t think of any historical equal to Rush and his importance in the conservative movement.
