I’ll take pineapple or anchovies any day over the gristly rubber-bands some call “bacon”. If that sh#t came from a pig, it was from a part that should never be eaten.

They’ve been putting pineapple on pizza in the US for decades. Usually with Canadian bacon.
What they do in S.E. Asian, Thailand in particular, is far, far worse.
They put ketchup on pizza.

We regularly eat ham and pineapple on pizza. That is a great tasting combo
However we do like Italian sausage, mushrooms and onions.
Peppironi is currently not favored but is in fact good with the sweet sausage and mushrooms

Not sure what rock you've been living under but pineapple on a pizza or "Hawaiian" pizza has been around for at least 50 years in the US, probably longer. And is my favorite pizza.
