The most nausea-inducing moment of Sunday night’s Super Bowl came not during the public spanking of The Chiefs by the Bucs. It was during a tone-deaf, two-minute TV commercial starring New Jersey’s own Bruce Springsteen, in which the mega-wealthy musician and leftist sage revealed that his longtime working-class grift is as phony as his cowboy hat.
In the commercial entitled “The Middle,” Bruce, is seen driving a 1980 Jeep CJ-5 to a chapel in Lebanon, Kansas, which he describes as “standing on the exact center of the lower 48.’’
He rhapsodizes about this geographical oddity — ignoring the fact that Kansas voters handed a substantial state victory to Donald Trump over Joe Biden in the 2020 presidential election.
“It’s no secret,’’ he continues, undeterred by Kansas’ Republican bona fides, “the middle has been a hard place to get to lately. Between red and blue. Between servant and citizen. Between our freedom and fear. . . .’’
He sifts soil with hands that have never performed manual labor. (Or labor of any kind.)
He sips from a cup.
He lights a candle. There’s a shot of a back-lit American flag. A random horse.

I saw him in concert in Rotterdam in The Netherlands back in 1985 and he put on one helluva show. That was a long long time ago.
Springsteen has spent decades reviling Republicans and the people who vote for them. He spent the last four slandering Trump and insulting the people who voted for him. And now this worthless left-wing phony wants us to “meet in the middle”. His lips can meet my dog’s butt.
Little did I know then that Springsteen's creativity would soon be dead as his best three albums were already behind him.
I couldn’t even recognize him as Bruce. I thought he was some generic earring-wearing NPC dude.
That’s what abstaining from lame stream media for years will do to you (and I like it).
Be sure to drink your Ovaltine.
Springsteen is selling Fiats. Yup, don’t want either of those - never did like Springsteen’s music, or his hate, and I sure have never been willing to spend hard earned money on the Italian engineered Fiat.
Ever since about the end of Side Two of The River, it’s mostly been self-indulgent garbage from Springsteen. He’s like a mutated version of the fake folk music scene and it’s faux authenticity.
I always felt like spruce was using The USA to make money... And he did, for years but now these entertainers are trying to be politicians. And they should be separated for such..
Another piece of worthless human debris
Yeah, he was an 80s icon. I remember watching that video as a kid and seeing a young Courtney Cox get pulled onto the stage.
Springsteen is a Fake Farmer
He has his massive New Jersey Estate “Farm Assessed” so he doesn’t have to pay full property taxes on it.
He crop I believe is honey bees
He has a few hives on the property and has someone take care of them and it saves him millions in property taxes every year.
Springsteen does not pay his fair share of taxes
Why does Jeep Fiat hire a tax cheater actor to represent their brand?
Where is the outrage from Bernie and AOC?
Yes that was one OT the most ridiculous of the woke offerings
Hey, at least he tried.
If Geico can use a gecko and Liberty Mutual an emu, Fiat could use a Narnia mouse to sell its cars and call him Reepijeep; it couldn’t be any worse than the one who was born in the USA and blinded by the light.
did not watch the super bowl, saw the commercial on Youtub....at first I did not know how come it just made me angry and then it hit me. this guy has spent the last 30 years belittling anyone who disagrees with him politicly. The company and him had a lot of Gaul to do this commercial. and not apologize for the role he played in setting up the political divide that made this virtue signaling possible.
Springsteen’s can’t sing, just like Jay zee, Kanye west and others. How they fool so many people is amazing.
He sold out decades ago. I always hated him & his music-overwrought screeching with intestinal grunting is not appealing to me. And I never understood why he was so loved by fans.
I used to love Bruce but a guy in my early 80’s frat hated him, because of this.....he may have a working class background, but he plays it up to the hilt. His dad was a working class guy, Bruce never was. Still isn’t.
He gets to feel good because he talks about doing good. All hat, no cattle.
Springsteen has been dishing out pablum since the late seventies. I grew up near Asbury Park and only listened to him because the girls loved him.
