Authorities have identified four skiers killed in an avalanche in Utah over the weekend. Officials said two groups of skiers, one group of three and another group of five, were skiing in the Wilson Basin area near Millcreek Canyon, which is about 20 miles southeast of Salt Lake City when the avalanche struck.
........... Simon Trautman, an expert with the National Avalanche Center, told BuzzFeed News the recent string of fatal accidents is due to "weak snowpack" across the country. He also suspects the ongoing coronavirus pandemic could be playing a role in the uptick in fatalities.

I am really sorry for the deaths of 4 people in Utah, but really? Covid.. Does anybody think there will be a payout to the hospitals for these 4 "covid" related deaths?
I assume these 4 were women and minorities?
I dont know about all of them but there is a picture of one of those killed and she is a white female.

Actually, I'm surprised that Global Warming didn't get the blame. It certainly would seem more plausible than COVID.

Wait - what? How do we know it was a woman? Did it self-identify prior to the avalanche? What if it was gender fluid?
Actually, the avalanche was tied to global warming or climate change or whatever, on our local news (not covid).
There is some good news, at least they didn’t die if COVID. Or did they?
Missing vital statistic, how many of these skiers were properly face diapered?
He’s not saying Wuhan killed anyone; he’s saying that with all the damned restrictions, more folks are taking part in outdoor recreation and that’s causing clusters of injuries and accidents (especially since some people are beginners or flat-out stupid when it comes to such things, I’d imagine, but that’s just my take on it).
Global warming has already been connected to Rona! Never let a crisis go to waste.
