Unfortunately, the same may be true of the US as a whole. If the Left can keep importing voters whose bread is buttered by the Metropolitan, globalist Left, then I’m not sure I see a political way out of this.

As long as the states can borrow money and the Treasury can print it, there will be he[[ to pay (sorry) stopping both political parties from increasing the debt. The progressive's paradise...Financially knowledgeable people I talk to do not understand the current low inflation in a time of burgeoning federal debt. Whether technology, cheap foreign goods, a pandemic economy etc. are the causes, as some have said, I'm not qualified to say.

But as long as we are here at the tax and spenders' picnic, I don't see fiscal conservatives being elected dogcatcher in the states dominated by the metro pits. When the fiscal pain finally hits the fan it will be interesting for those alive to see if America can handle it again, given the cancerous public education and immigration system.
