Ever tried Eders (Aschaffenburg) or Darmstadter (Darmstadt) German beers? Best Pilsners I ever had. The taste is first with those two.

Darmstadter is good like a 3.75 of 5, had it at the haus, even the draft always felt like the palate was a little busy, a little 'late'; and the overall sense of being rushed to market to fulfill the masses lined up outside; which even the market-basket Darmstadter swing tops (a la Grolsch) did not dissuade. Have not had Eders.
