If impeachment applies to people who are out of office then every former politico is vulnerable.

Presidents can't be impeached after they leave office. The only thing that can happen is if they have been impeached before they leave office, the senate can hold a trial afterwards. They wouldn't be able to kick the president out of office, as he is already out, but they could prevent him from running again and deny him the perks of being an ex-president such as secret service security.

The only president still alive that was impeached while in office was Clinton, but they already had the trial and he won.

So Cornyn is all talk. Just like Trey Gowdy and so many others.

Exactly. His office got an ear full from me a few weeks ago, told them I'll vote demoschiff before voting for him again after he failed to stand up for President Trump with the theft of the election. I will NOT vote for him again.

I think Texans will be looking for a quite a bit more than talking tough, given the edicts being handed down by The Junta. The REAL QUESTION is whether elected Texas Republicans have ANY CLUE as to what’s in store for them. So far, only Paxton (the Attorney General) really seems to be getting it.
