Funny, I have a bud who just bought a 2006 Magnum and is now in the midst of fixing it up.

That is what you do as soon as you buy one.

Make sure he is careful with the motor.
The exact motor oil they recommend in a MUST and no Walmart cheap stuff

The 05/06 dropped valves like crazy.

Mine went up in smoke in Lowes parking lot one night with no warning.
[and 220K miles]

Hubby sold his motorcycle to get a rebuilt motor dropped in it 9 months later and a couple months after that, the torque converter went to hell.
After two trips to different salvage yards and having it taken out/put in *4* times, the tranny is working.

You guys helped me get that fixed.

And now I won’t be able to afford driving it anywhere except the grocery store, at 50 mph to keep the Hemi and V8 from kicking in.

heck.

He will probably enjoy the Dodge Magnum forum and the Dodge Magnum FB forums.

/and he’ll need them
