I believe Trump owns an adjacent property which is not part of Maralogo, so he could just ‘live’ there and have his office in Maralogo.

Hey now! We’re talking President Trump, not the Clintons.

😁

That was specifically related to Covid rules.

If I was President Trump, I would be soooo tempted to move to California.

Or Michigan.

Or DC, a la Obama.

Just to see heads explode.

Sounds like a great idea, but not sure he’d need those big moving vans to move next door.

Maybe it’s Javanka’s stuff.
Or Melania’s wardrobe for next month.

Bigger Question: Does anyone know of a real estate company searching for a new Florida home for the Trumps?

There’s a nice golf course at the Old Baldy Club in Saratoga.

“Neighbors of Donald Trump’s infamous Mar-a-Lago golf club”

How did Mar-a-Lago become ‘infamous’?

Trump didn’t really live there. Some news organizations suggest the moving van is his stuff being taken TO the place.

There are questions about whether he can live there, he signed documents when he bought the place that prevent him from using it as a residence.

Yes, move to Texas, be the governor and don’t let anymore California liberals into the state.

Based on the agreement with Palm Beach, nobody is supposed have a permanent residence in Mar-a-Lago. It wouldn't surprise me if Trump finds a house in the area.

It’s been reported he will live in TX, and spend time in Scotland.

Why would he do that? He has no connection with Texas where he businesses in Florida.

How bout TEXAS??? IF Texas secedes, and many other states follow, Trump would make a fine leader for that group.

Trump needs to immediately establish his residence in a federal judicial district with conservative district judges that is in an appellate court circuit with conservative appellate judges. Then, when Chuckie Schumer starts the Senate impeachment proceedings against him, Trump can sue in the district where he lives over all of the constitutional issues raised by trying to impeach and remove a former President to punish him for constitutionally protected speech.

Sounds like a plan. Where might those places be that could reasonably suit Donald and Melania?

“”Wasn’t it built by Marjorie Post to be a southern residence for the President — a southern “White House”? Seems that I recall that.””

I believe so - I have on order a used book - “America’s Empress” about her. She grabbed my interest when I saw “Food That Built America” a few weeks ago. Amazing show.

How she snapped up food companies all over the country. She appeared on the floor of a Birdseye plant one day and asked to see Mr. Birdseye. The gentleman she was talking to was Birdseye. She asked him how much he’d take for his company and he said $10 million for 75% of it and she said, “I’ve never bought 75% of anything in my life.” She asked him what he would take for the rest of it and he paused and said, “$12 million. She said, “$22 million - done.
Papers will be on your desk in the morning. You will stay on to manage with a paycheck and benefits.”

Birdseye couldn’t even sell their product as no one had refrigeration for frozen foods - it was purchased locally to be used for meals the day it was purchased. They couldn’t ship it without refrigeration. He had something like 17 patents - forget the actual number so she really bought the patents. They didn’t have any sales to speak of.

Don’t miss the show if it comes back - History Channel. A large segment of it was on Hershey Chocolate and the maker of M&M’s - Mars who worked for Hershey at one time.
