"Wells Impy, how did your Bears do at their fool's ball? You picked them to win didn't ya's?"

I did nothing of sort!

"Yes, you did."

What? Really? I knew I shouldn't have drank all that Grand Mariner. Anyway, I don't want to talk about it. Or the fact that they are bringing back the coach and GM.

"I have pictures of Mrs. McCaskey touching my no no place, haha."

Things went awry for the Pittsburgh Stoolers as well, didn't they, Coach Epps? You let the Browns into the playoffs and then they kicked your ass and made Big Ben cry.

"That's why they pay me the big bucks. Did I do something to your mama for you to rub it in like this?"

"You did, you violated Dr. House's parole do he had to fake his death so he could be with his dying friend, you big weenie!"

That reminds me, Coach Belichick, I had this award I wanted to give for best use a hoodie by a white dude over the age of 17.

"I'm sorry Imp, in light of the events at the capitol and my love of 'democracy' which you cleary oppose, I must decline because I'm afraid of getting cancelled".

"Wow, are you really that much of a little wussy *itch?"

"Yes, I'm afraid so. I sold my soul for Superbowl rings and now I've sold my balls, AOC had them for dinner the other night. But it's ok, I stuck some marbles down there and Mrs. B. will never know the difference."

The Browns sure surprised me, but I think the fairy tale comes to an end this weekend.

Kansas City over Cleveland in a blowout.

Stunned by Seattle, who I had picked a the NFC Champ, so I'll stick with the new Cinderella team (plus I really dislike GB).

Los Angeles over Green Bay in a squeaker.

I still think Buffalo is the best of the field, and the new knock on Lamar is although he won a playoff game, he can't win a BIG game.

Buffalo over Baltimore by a touchdown.

Brady vs. Brees- the last meeting of the legendary QB's. Brees is on the better team, but I think Brady still has a little magic.

Tampa beats New Orleans on the last play of the game.

Because of the way ESPN is doing the pick'em with all the weird tie-breaker questions, I've got 7 "pictures" to add in. Sorry for the 'long post'. At least they're readable!

Coach Epps responded by firing the offensive coordinator, the tight ends coach, and the defensive secondary coach.

Well, second round of the playoffs. We should get at least two good games. Was only surprised last week that the Rams so easily handled the Seahawks. Onward!

Sat

Los Angeles Rams at Green Bay As I said, surprised that the Rams so easily beat the Seahawks Saturday. Now on to Lambeau with an impaired Jared Goff and a less-than-one-hundred-percent Aaron Donald. Against a rejuvenated man-on-a-mission Aaron Rodgers. So Rams.... your season ends today. PACKERS.

Baltimore at Buffalo The Ravens and Lamar Jackson showed something last week, recovering from an early 10 point deficit on the road to win, and totally shutting down the league's leading rusher (OTOH, maybe Henry was just tired from all those regular season carries). Now they shuffle off to Buffalo. But the Ravens strength - running the ball - matches well with a Bills weakness - stopping the run. So in a mild upset... RAVENS.

Sun

Cleveland at Kansas City The Browns put up a playoff record 28-point first quarter last week, helped greatly by Steeler ineptitude. Now they get the overwhelming Super Bowl favorite Chiefs at home in KC. Will the Chiefs cooperate and turn the ball over five times? I doubt it. But the Browns do have the running game with Chubb and Hunt to control the clock and keep Patrick Mahomes off the field, which is about the only way to control the Chiefs offense. And the Browns have put up over 40 points several times this season so they are no slouches on 'O' themselves. I would love to see them win this game... so what the hey. BROWNS.

Tampa Bay at New Orleans The Saints have beaten the Bucs twice already, and one of those games was a 38 - 3 thumping. One might think the Saints have the Bucs number. In this game between the two geezer QBs of the league - combined age 84 I believe - I believe the Saints have the more complete and diversified offense and that will be the difference. SAINTS.

Good luck everyone with your picks! Have a great weekend and pray for Our Nation.

The Saints turn the ball over four times. Four times! Ugh....

The Browns had their chances but did not execute. These things cost you in a playoff game.

The Ravens laid a major egg in Buffalo and only managed to put up three points.

The only game that really held true to form was Green Bay - Los Angeles.

I hope Patrick Mahomes is okay to play next week. If not we could have a Bucs - Buffalo Super Bowl and I would not bet against Tom Brady in that situation.
