The highly contagious UK variant of the coronavirus has been detected in two New York City residents — one of whom recently traveled to the United Kingdom, Mayor Bill de Blasio revealed Wednesday.
Twelve cases of the strain have been identified across the state, and de Blasio said two of those cases involve the Big Apple residents, marking the first known cases in the city.

If two NYC residents have the “highly contagious virus” than 200 NYC residents ALREADY have it. It is just like when you see two cockroaches in an NYC apartment. You KNOW there’s more than two.
Not Covid-19 and not from man!
COVID is highly contagious. I don’t believe the new strains are any more contagious than the original.
Other than the media writing those words, their seems to be no clinical data to support a change in the level of contagiousness.
Biden got his message through. Remember, all those Broadway folks just got their sh**load of money. Now this?? But restaurants are still closed. Cuomo will open those in about a week....The Shows Must Go On....

I have no knowledge of the UK’s study but how much more contagious can
it be ? Maybe it survives longer in the air or on surfaces. Maybe its halflife is extended. Maybe it can now penetrate the body through sores and abrasions, or through the ear canal. Until there is a study specifically saying HOW the references to this mutstion are somewhay meaningless.
Notice the convienent timing? This way biden can avoid responsibilty by pointing to the first invasion of the body snatchers which will be recorded under the evil Trump admin.

Why is it ok to call it the UK mutation but not the China virus?
