Should they be denied access to motor vehicles? Gasoline?
Your approach to the problem has resulted in states like California having about 100 pages of gun laws. We have to pass a background check to buy ammunition. Have you read any reports of dramatic declines in crime in California? I haven’t.
I believe that no municipality, county or state should be allowed to infringe on 2nd Amendment rights in any way whatsoever.Only the United States Congress should be allowed to do so...and,of course, any legislation passed by that body is subject to scrutiny by the Federal courts. And in case you say "Oh,the Federal courts? They're worse than worthless" I'd remind you that in recent years SCOTUS has issued three important rulings regarding 2A..."Heller v District of Columbia"..."Chicago v McDonald" and "Caetano v Massachusetts". And BTW,Catetano was 9-0 in favor of Caetano,in favor of the 2nd Amendment and against Massachusetts.
Lastly,I ask you the same question I asked someone else earlier...are there any people,or any *types* of people, that you feel should be denied access to firearms at least temporarily? And for that matter...do you think that there are any people who should be prohibited to drive a motor vehicle at least temporarily?
