Yes. The economic, societal, and psychological effects of the response to this will still be being felt and realized decades from now.
In a way, the world right now feels like it is headed for the world in fiction like “The Man in the High Tower”. I only watched the first few episodes of that so I may be off base. I’m talking more about the lifestyle of the average American and the freedom they did not have, but the fear they DID have.
