As much as I want Rivers to go for a ring, I think Buffalo is just too strong for them at this point.

Seattle. I am not impressed by the Rams.

Tampa Bay as Washington is horrible. The whole entire NFC East was this year.



Sunday:
Baltimore at Tennessee
I think Baltimore and their QB is a little too much for Tennessee to handle. But it'll be close.

Chicago at New Orleans
Saints are going to Brees right by 'Da Bears.

Cleveland at Pittsburgh
This one is tough, because you don't know which Roethlisberger or which Mayfield, either. Gonna go with Steelers, in a close one, because of home field.

Hopefully not too much of this political flipping the bird at America stuff. Haven’t heard a lot of complaints lately but then I haven’t watched any NFL all season. As you know my predictions are based on fairly simple statistics (what they now categorize as “Net Points” - never used to see that stat but it’s what I’ve used since the 80’s).

But if you could also see the statistical analysis detail I go into, very quickly you’d know the run/pass, offense/defense, strengths/weaknesses in each matchup. That is what helps me know what I’m looking at and why a given team may prevail over the other, which make it fun for me. I also feel like sometimes I know more about what’s going on than some of these over-paid somewhat boring commentators. Heck I’ll do it for a fraction of their salary. If they only knew. *sigh*

So as I said, to h#ll with politics, let s have some fun.
