Parler does not have 10 Chinese Communist Party members in their “throttling, fact-faking, censoring” working for them— as Facebook actually has— and that is those known in the US. Untold censors and commies in other countries, for instance Communist China. So, there is that advantage.
Dan Bongino uses Parler, a lot. Many other conservative commentators.
I don’t think fb is usable, they have destroyed their interface and ruined content with bias. Sadly I do not find parler user friendly, but I am hopeful.
