The Tamar Rice shoot was a total screwup. The kid was playing with a toy gun. Bystanders while he was playing and pointing the toy were not scared. The man who reported it noted it was a kid a probably a toy gun. While concerned, he didn’t think he was under attack.

The only people who thought it was a real gun and required deadly force were the cops that showed up.

Six years???
If it takes that long to resolve this type of issue, there is something very wrong with the workings of the Justice Department.

It maybe a total screw up but someone called 911 ...

Very hard for cops to move into a situation like that when the call starts out with “a gun”.
