Ah! Thanks; I was hoping precook didn’t actually mean anything. LOL

I’m not much on public transportation myself, but figured it would be easier to use the Metro than to be navigating around a strange city by myself. But I’ll rethink driving in since I would be able to reserve a parking spot.

If you’re coming alone and don’t know the city, you might actually be better off on the dreadful Metro.

At the last protest, I wasn’t concerned much about personal security at the actual protest but was quite on guard while walking to the car with my wife. I have a protest buddy who lives near DC. He left before me and tool the metro to his car. He actually offered to drive in and transport us to our car.

I think I’d stick with the Metro. Some of the stops do not have parking facilities so make sure you check that out.
