January 6th Protest and Us
Self | 26 December 2020 | Self

Posted on 12/26/2020 6:49:09 AM PST by ShadowAce

I believe that we all know by ow that President Trump has called for real Patriots to come to Washington DC to protest outside of Congress in order to pressure them to do the right thing.

Will there also be local (at state capitols) event as well for those that cannot travel that far?

Are any Freepers planning to travel to Washington or their local capitol (if relevant) for this protest?

Do we want to meet up once there?

Yeah--that is the interesting part.

The Left can protest "peacefully" all summer without any consequences, but when we do it.....

Keep in mind, the Supreme Court is just across the street from the Capital.

i will be carrying a camera that day, to document the people at the supreme court protests... where they are from and what they hope to accomplish... much like i did with the 912 project 10 years ago.

“Bring protection. Be ready to protect”

Not in DC. They are the worst.

Maybe a German Shepherd or two... They are my “Emotional Support Dogs.”

I’d familiarize myself with what is and is not legally allowed in DC, e.g., carrying a firearm, and plan accordingly.

Here’s some good advice for DC protests

https://thedonald.win/p/11R4zNfMWO/guide-to-your-jan-6th-trip-inclu/

Here are my additions:

Some other protest veteran advice.

Don’t carry your wallet. Carry license and credit cards in a separate pocket.

Use spothero to precook your parking space

Eyes on a swivel.

There will be tons of vendors selling Trump gear

There will be lots of food trucks.

Pop a couple Imodium in the morning to prevent the need

Have a meetup location if your group gets separated.

Wear boots

Wear wool socks to stay comfortable

I use a four part breakdown flagpole for my Trump flag. I guess the smaller lengths can make a nice defensive part

Remove trump gear when not with the main pack

Leave way before dark.

I don;t think this is going to happen. All eyes should be on Georgia. We need the Senate.

As a lone female who is planning to attend, can you translate this: Use spothero to precook your parking space

I was planning on staying in VA (was looking at MD until I saw how stupid Hogan is being about COVID) and riding the metro in. I know the Women for America (March for Trump bus tour) has applied for a permit at Freedom Plaza on Jan. 6. Are there going to be other protest/rally locations? I haven’t seen any specifics announced, which makes it hard to plan.

I am more than willing

to do the trip, being on the East Coast, near NYC.....maybe if I live in Cal. I wouldn’t be so eager, or willing. I think it’s great idea and an urgent thing to do, but yeah, it makes a more sense for people who live more than a few hundred miles from DC to go to their state capitol buildings en masse. And NO, not armed. That plays right into the narrative of having the MSM portray it as an attemted right wing coup, which is the exact issue the Dem terrorists have been trying to FORCE during the entire stretch of Trump’s term as President.

I live 90 minutes from DC and will be there.

Here’s some good info courtesy of our friends at Thedonald.win

Having attended many DC rally’s and events, here’s ome of my additions:

I hate teh DC Metro so I prefer to drive in. If you do take it, plan on large crowds. I’m convinced they slow the trains down when large conservative groups come to town. I think you can buy a Metro card online and have it mailed to you.

When leaving, don’t bother with the Metro station closest to the protests. Lines will be insane. Walk a few blocks to the next stop and hop on there.

Know exactly what Metro line you’ll be taking. (They are color coded) Have a meet up point at the end if you get separated. Write down the Metro details for each person in your group.

A protest buddy witness some antifa fags attempting to hassle people at the Metro station. Continue your situational awareness at all times.

The President has been in the forefront of this battle since the beginning. He has asked us to participate in this.

I think it's the least we can do--show our support for him and our opposition to the steal.

on the face of it, it seemed to me the timing is precisely because Georgia is a day earlier and by the 6th we should have a good idea of whether Florida was stolen like the General Election was. One way or another, it makes sense to go there, but with a coherent message, and that will be the hardest part.

Why do I feel like I am living a Star Wars movie and senator Palpatine Biden is just about to be elected by a bunch of disloyal senators.

That meant pre-book. Spot hero is an app where you can pre-pay for parking. I hate the metro and prefer to drive in to DC.

If you can't do it, you can't do it, but I think there is far more value in having numbers in DC. Protests in state capitols are useless - the idea is to pressure Congress and the Supreme Court, and a bunch of people waving flags thousands of miles away doesn't do that at all.

I am planning on driving to DC from the west coast. I believe this event is worth it. This is not like any rally or protest we have ever had. This is for all the marbles.

Expect traffic jams, bring food and water.

If you have an RV expect to stay a day or two.

Help others.
