Ah, Pescara, we would drive there and to Vasto which was closer to dad’s village for the incredible seafood.
Also not far away is Agnone, home of the ancient bell factory, where they have a ceremonial bell from the year 2000, and next to it is the factory’s bell from the year 1000.
I had a calamari salad (cold!) in Pescara that I would likely kill to get the ingredients list.
