I just watched again Wictor’s most recent three videos and could not find where he said that Ezra Cohen Watnick has been removed.

######################################

I was more referring to this change in status. Perhaps the term “removed” is not the correct term - maybe re-assigned is a better way to put it???

“119 ➗7 is now the Chairman of the Public Interest Declassification Board. This new information could be of importance to many. I wonder what that could mean for those who have taken actions to obscure potentially damaging information from the public view?”

Which is likely 'an additional duty' as we say. Not fulltime.

Interesting, thank you for the clarification. Also interesting that the twitter poster said in reference to ECW... 119/7... which equals 17.

Excerpt: Ezra Cohen-Watnick, a former White House National Security Council staffer who since Nov. 10 has been acting undersecretary of defense for intelligence, received one of the most potentially significant roles on the declassification panel.

Cohen-Watnick will serve as chairman of the nine-person Public Interest Declassification Board, a little-known entity based at the National Archives that is supposed to advocate for public access to classified documents. The position currently is vacant.

Cohen-Watnick brings with him familiarity with the FBI’s Russia investigation that ultimately found no evidence of Trump conspiring with Russia. Trump has urged maximum release of documents on that investigation and has accused federal bureaucrats of moving too slowly.
