Walmart has protested this, and will defend vigorously. They have stated that it is unlawful for them to refuse to fill a prescription written by a licensed doctor.

Agree with Walmart on this. How can they question prescriptions? That gets very personal.

Did they cite any affirmative duty Walmart or its pharmacists had to report the supposed invalid prescriptions? If it’s valid on its face, what is Walmart’s duty to investigate further? On its face, I see this as grandstanding and overreaching, but apparently an argument can be made.

Funny. But no lawsuits against the Drug Companies that produce the drugs and ship them overseas to be smuggled back in.

The illegal dispensing of prescription opioids is probably a cover story. What the Department of Injustice DeepStaters are likely to go after is the dispensing of prescription hydroxychloroquine to combat the ChiCom virus.

“The misuse of prescription painkillers is a public health crisis,” said U.S. Attorney for the District of Delaware David C. Weiss.

So is the chronic pain that legitimate opioid users and their doctors are trying to treat. The Feds need to be careful about this - flashy headlines for DAs about going after hard drugs could result in a lot of suffering for people suffering from terminal illnesses and injuries.

“The misuse of prescription painkillers is a public health crisis,”

And for the most part created by Insurance Companies. My 3 Doctors Intentionally and with my knowledge beforehand got me totally addicted to Opiates, I was eating 50 Percodan a Day just to keep from going into shock and blacking out. After 3 months when I was scheduled for my surgery, I spent the First Week in the Hospital Going thru Managed Withdrawls by the Doctors and Staff. Today they kick your ass out as soon as you open your eyes and you are still a junkie, and since most people are weak, going through withdrawls voluntarily is out of the question. (1978)

FYI after the third day going thru withdrawls of opiates, it is not too bad and is easy to complete the process, generally 5 days is enough to clean out.

FYI after the third day going thru withdrawls of opiates, it is not too bad and is easy to complete the process, generally 5 days is enough to clean out.

The problem with trying to stay clean for most junkies is that 4 months in it is hard to get work with a record, and even then not enough money at minimum wage for rent, divorce and child support demands.

Then one of your "old buddies" contacts you, and it would be so nice just to take the edge off for a few hours...

Walmart is in the protected class of large, multi-national corporations so this is obviously an action that is just for appearances.
