Ad revenue is significantly determined by the 18-49 year old viewership demographic. Networks don’t care so much what older folks are watching. “Sucker” is not doing so well in this Demo, actually he has lost that Demo to that Creep Cuomo on a number of nights. CUOMO!! let that sink in.
The last sentence is not true.
When you are examining cable news programs, the vast majority of all viewers are way over 50 and way out of the demo.
If all older folks stopped watching any cable news shows, they would tank in a month.
You can tell by the commercials that most news shows are tailored to old people, medications, insurance, Buicks and weight loss gimmicks.
Sure the ad guys care about the 18-49 year olds, but the few that watch cable news wouldn't fill an old fashioned phone booth {slight exaggeration, but you get the point}.
