If he called for a special election, and resigned -and said he would only resume office if he won the special election... he would have the greatest landslide in history right now.
I like that better than removing himself from the special election. But that is also an option.
I don’t really care for the resigning part, but it would lend so much credibility and completely remove the Democrats argument that he is a dictator.
