I’m looking forward to WandaVision which will lead into Dr. Strange, Loki, Spider-Man 3 and into virtually ever corner of the MCU. Dr. Strange will be confronted with a new multiverse with alternate versions of MCU characters from different universes. Toby McGuire and Andrew Garfield will be Peter Parker/Spider-Man from their respective universes (McGuire was, by far, the best Peter Parker, and Spider-Man 2 was dull and not worth watching).
Rumors abound regarding who will appear in future movies/Tv shows. One intriguing one has Tom Cruise as his universe’s Tony Stark/Iron Man. Another rumor is that the multiverse will be created by Wanda in WandaVison.
The FF may be introduced in Ant-Man 3. It will declare that the FF has always existed in the MCU but the cosmonauts’ frequent forays into the Negative Zone and from there into the microworld of Ant-Man.
X-Men will surely be introduced, probably at least some of them by 2022, but I’m not reading any speculation about where and how. To me, it makes sense to introduce the characters one or two at a time until they eventually join up to form X-Men.
The Charlie Cox/DD from the Daredevil excellent Netflix series will be introduced as Peter Parker’s attorney in Spider-Man 3.
Feige wants Hugh Jackman to play Logan at least one more time into a Wolverine vs. Hulk standalone film.
Robert Downey Jr. seems to be hinting that, if fans demand it, he will reprise his role as Tony Stark/Iron Man.
It is exciting times for Marvel fans. Kevin Feige has done a fantastic job leading Marvel Studios and keeping the movies and TV shows coherent and mostly faithful to the comic books.
Kathleen Kennedy has been the polar opposite and has destroyed Star Wars.....which is now being rescued by Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni with the excellent Mandelorian series.
Good report.
I’m looking forward to it.
Didn’t Wanda, as the daughter of Magneto, take away all of the mutant’s powers in the House of M comic book series?
That would be an interesting movie!
