There were two decent-sized bookstores in Santa Cruz, until a couple years ago, when Logo went out of business.

There may be some smaller specialty, like religious bookstores also.

Logos closed down a few years back, I heard.

This one I guess is still in the same place. It’s bricks fell in the Earthquake and killed a young woman.

It had a nice courtyard behinds with coffee place and stuff. Maybe it’s still in business because it’s a destination as much as a bookstore.

Last time I was there it was in the temporary tent in the parking lot.
