Social Media has exponentially destroyed our Social Compact. It exists for the mindless, ego-centric, and lonely hearts club types. I quit Facebook 3 years ago. Never joined Twitter or Instagram. They are just "look at me" and how many miles I ran today or what they had for breakfast and other such inane crap. Also, look at how many "friends" I got. Nonsense, since none are actually friends in real life. But still, "I got a lot of likes". More nonsense.
Screw them all.
Your post pretty much sums up why I have nothing to do with Farce Book, Twitter or Instagram.
In essence it’s sad so many lives revolve around likes, friends that really aren’t, and mindlessly babbling on and on about their trivial daily activities like anyone else really gives a crap.
