One of the original crunchentickers. I had a nickel Model 39 for a while, then sold it to a buddy after making him swear that I'd have right of first refusal to buy it back, should he ever want or need to sell it. The bonehead pawned it a few years later, and the pawn shop was burglarized - the M39 was taken. Best part is, the pawn shop owner didn't tell him, just let him keep paying on the ticket for the stolen pistol.
I sold my M59 years ago, it wasn’t very accurate. I could never figure out why.
I carried an Astra A75(Sig clone) for years much more comfortable and accurate.
I also carried a PPKS clone.
VERY accurate!
I guess when SW when from the M39 to the M59 it need more tweaking than just a different magazine and grip.
