We have a few relatives that have been frightened by the idiot media to the point they are afraid to travel here for Thanksgiving -- the grandchildren don't want to "kill us with Corona-19" by "carrying" the infection into our home. (We are retired.)
They are so indoctrinated we can't get anywhere with them.
But, we had an idea. This Thanksgiving we're going to call everyone -- everyone -- that we wish could be with us, and sit at our table. When we started to compile the list, it's quite long, and it would be the Greatest Thanksgiving Of All Time -- IF we could even host so many friends and relatives, and get 'em all to come on the same day.
A phone call is a cheap substitute for a true Thanksgiving feast and observance -- but rather than curse the darkness, we'll light this little candle of hope and outreach; and at least let people know we're thinking about them, and giving thanks to God as we pray for this troubled nation that it should find its way back to sanity.

Due to recent surgeries, both my wife and I have been tested (negative.). Our daughter and her husband are first responders and get tested regularly. They are negative.
We will be gathering with some others—also tested regularly due to their jobs.
And yes—we will be breaking all sorts of protocols with the size of our group. But since a few of them are cops—we are not concerned with being “arrested.”
I am all about protecting those with issues. The rest of this is crap.

Thanksgiving is American. Global reset is antithetical to it. That is why. Christmas will be attacked with equal fervor. Stand.
Just make this your annual Christmas as well and do it every year. The greatest Thanksgiving and Christmas every year...just you and your wife and your cell phone!

We are planning a traditional Thanksgiving dinner with extended family...no masks, no head counts and no real fear of the virus. I have thought that some critical Karen may knock on the door to admonish us or threaten to all the police (like the cops would enforce this BS). I would tell that Karen to pound sand and use her mask as a suppository
