Elections Canada does not use Dominion Voting Systems. We use paper ballots counted by hand in front of scrutineers and have never used voting machines or electronic tabulators to count votes in our 100-year history. #CdnPoli pic.twitter.com/dp7ZiB84ql— Elections Canada (@ElectionsCan_E) November 16, 2020
At one time in Canada, registered voters received a postcard in the mail which was not forwardable. It is my understanding that without that postcard they could not vote. If the post card was returned as undeliverable, the person was removed from the voter rolls in that jurisdiction. I wonder if this is still the case.
What is wrong with machines that only add up the votes with printed copy backup. No voting machines should be internet capable.
