Hope he’s ok! Must be a reason he’s getting tested? But yeah the tests seem ... not always accurate. Taiwan and South Korea have things figured out...Wonder what they know that we don’t.

The tests only test for “symptoms” and not Covid 19.

This is why the tests are all over the place.

During the summer, the son of a friend and a co-worker ended up getting tested three times over a period of weeks. The co-worker had been experiencing symptoms of the virus. The first two test were negative. It took a lot longer to get the third test back, and both men tested positive. My friend had been waiting patiently, because they had plans for the whole family (3 sons and their families) to spend a week in Delaware. By the time the result came back, the doctor said her son had already passed the infectious stage, and he could go on the trip. Nobody else got sick in the family.

One of my reasons for not wanting to take the vaccine, is that they don't even have an accurate test yet.

Space X launch is the most likely reason he is being tested. Musk usually sits with the group at mission control.

Taiwan and South Korea are small islands. South Korea is only connected to land by a DMZ. So no one can pass that way. Its much easier for them to lock off populations if someone gets the virus. But the most important thing. Is that their population is much thinner than ours. We are fat. So we are far more likely to get the virus. And far more likely to die from it. Korea, Japan and Taiwan have antibodies throughout half their population without noticing the disease. Its not that they know anything. It’s that they can more easily close themselves off from the world. And that their general fitness happens to inoculate them from the worst symptoms of this disease.
