What Ron gleaned re version 5.5 for PA is that they separated how things were handled between the printing step and the processing step.
1. User is at terminal and enters ballot, then prints the ballot.
2. Poll worker submits for processing.
It is possible that the two were not the same - the image printed as the user entered separately from that which was submitted. The inference is clear from the dictate by PA.

More TRUTH.
The evidence is irrefutable. Soon people will be going to prison. Lots of people.
Worked on the original site on another tab 60 sec ago.
Based Princeton University Professor shows how to hack an election machine and switch votes in 7 min with just a screwdriver to get into it.
My PA experience...
I went in, masked, to the table with my section of the alphabet. Gave my name. The worker flipped through the pages for my name and I pointed to the one that had my signature. She did not ask for my ID, even though I was masked. Grrrr. I said, “Don’t you want to see my ID, I am wearing a mask?” “No, that’s not necessary,” was the reply. Grrrr.
I got a sheet with the candidates for each office, Dems listed first in each case. Double sided. Sat at a table/booth. Used provided black ballpoint pen to fill in my choices.
Got up with sheet, worker directed me to feed it into the Clear Cast reader; it processed and showed a green check mark supposedly indicating that my vote was received. I wanted to take a picture of the machine serial number and information, but when I whipped out my vid camera, the poll worker said, ‘sorry, no photos or videos’. Then another poll worker, a female, said from across the room “you just have to trust the process.” Grrrr. I was discombobulated and left. I should have written down the machine info by hand, but did not. Grrrrr.
