Thanks. I’ve read this and many other things and know enough to understand Alzheimer’s as a subset of the broader condition of dementia. Both can progress.

It is all done for now.

What I am afraid of is getting it myself, since it tends to run in families.

Every time I can’t remember a name or some factoid or some such thing it bothers me thinking it may be starting.

I can’t really tell if my older relatives, uncles, aunts, etc ever had it since they mostly died at early ages of cancer or heart diseases because they were all heavy smokers.

I try to keep my mind active and functioning otherwise by reading lots of books, classics, like Twain, Dickens, Austen, Doyle, Poe, etc., not the pulp trash that passes for literature nowadays.......................
