Interesting. Would it have been enough to convince the public there really is a DS simply by removing Comey and installing someone loyal to you as the new FBI head? Probably not. Any action against the DS that would have been taken would have been blamed on “Trump’s lackey” at the FBI. No, Trump placed someone there who was compromised, kept an eye on him, and when the time was right, expose “his guy”, and in the process showed the world just how real and extensive the DS really is.

Accurate you are. When I first heard of Wray was when Trump appointed him. I looked him up and saw he was a little rich kid who never worked a day in his life. It also gave links to past co=workers and associates. Knew then he was bad. Very frustrating 3 years regarding Wray.
