Well said. The only thing I would disagree with is the part about Bernie. I’m pretty sure Bernie is controlled opposition and always has been. Look no further than how easily he surrenders to the Dem’s chosen candidate. The Dems use him to placate a particular segment of their party, but they know someone who is as openly socialist as Bernie would have a hard time winning the general election. The Dems might fear their party being taken over by a genuine reformer - but Bernie’s not it.
Agree on that, but a lot of his followers are true believers. So, yeah, he took a dive, but he could have won, and Trump said he would be a harder candidate to beat.
I've always wondered if Perot took a dive or he was threatened out. I think Bernie takes bribes to take dives.
