I have an idea to get it down, but I don’t think they’re going to like it.

He could just drive straight forward. By the time the rear wheels clear the road the truck will blow up anyway. I learned this from Hollywood movies...

He needs those guys on “Highway Thru Hell,” but they’re up in BC so that’ll cost him!

From the angle of the picture and vehicle, it looks like he had just started descending on the other side.

Can’t one of those big Sikorsky helicopters just lift it out?

Jack the truck up in the front and build up the terrain under the vehicle’s wheels using the available rocks in the vicinity.

I made a similar mistake but with a 1/2 ton truck and self rescued using the aforementioned technique. I was up in the big mountains and had to get myself unstuck.

Looks like he broke a tie rod or at least bent it severely.

I have had a GPS try to take me down 2 rut pasture roads. While I don't necessarily mind that, I doubt the landowner would be amused.

IF that truck was completely emptied...how much would it weigh?

Could one of our biggest heavy life helicopters pick it up & put in a position to get back down the mountain???

Even if they had to remove the heavy engine...??

THIS mess is another reason WHY I WOULD NEVER DEPEND ON GPS. Give me a map & my good sense after driving over a million miles.
