why is this news.

Shark attacks used to be very rare in the waters near Cape Cod. Fishermen shot seals, whom they considered competitors. Now that seals are protected, they are making a comeback and bringing the sharks along with them. Provincetown is on the very tip of the Cape. So far there haven't been any attacks by sharks in Cape Code Bay, they have all been on the ocean side. If the Bay becomes unsafe for swimmers, it could have a devastating effect on the Cape's tourist industry.

Actually seal tastes like a combination of BEEF & PORK.

NOT BAD eating, imVho.
(Artic people eat a good bit of seal. - I was once, long ago, TDY, for a few weeks, with a Native group up near the Artic Circle.)

Big white sharks off Provincetown is a relatively recent occurance. It is becoming more common, but it was rare for decades. It is interesting and it is a good video.

It was also a good illustration of shallow water hunting, which is right where the smallest kids are going to be playing in the surf at the beach.
