Actually it is a lot more complicated than simply “replacing” the Democratic ticket.
Each state has their own rules, except those states with no rules at all!
It would be a nightmare of epic proportions.
The problem now is that millions have already voted and there is hardly time to reprint or change the ballots. Voters would have to write in the new candidate.

After Nov. 4, but before Dec. 14 when the Electoral College votes, the party can try to put a new candidate forward, but ultimately the electors state by state would decide who gets that spot.

The final scenario would happen after Dec. 14. In that case, Congress takes over.

If they saw there were electors cast for someone who died or left the ballot they might keep the votes or they may throw them out.

This stuff is _very_ complex—hope we don’t have to find out the hard way.
Since it has never happened before, no one knows how such a scenario would play out. If Biden drops out, the DNC would be able to name a replacement, it would not necessarily default to Harris who gathered how many delegates before she dropped out of the Presidential race?
What to do with the votes already cast? Any votes cast for Biden aren’t really for Biden, but rather Electors pledged to vote for Biden. Since Elector candidates are chosen by their parties for past party loyalty, I have no doubt that they would simply change their votes to the DNC’s choice. Would this cause chaos and lawsuits—no doubt.
As for ballots already printed, I suppose dems could write in their new candidate’s name and have them counted. Knowing dems, write-ins for the new candidate and votes for Biden would be counted as votes for the new candidate.
Interesting question would be, who would the dems pick to take Biden’s place?

Yes, but they aren’t calling it fake, discredited or bogus. I smell fear.
The Clintons in their day rejected the “ride it out” approach in favor of the “deny and attack your opponent” approach.
They created a “War Room” to deal with each accusation and generate a quick rebuttal (usually full of lies, but it gave their media lackeys something to print and say).
The Democrats have inherited Clinton staffers and their mindset, so they will use the “war room” approach and try to “rebut” each and every charge.
The best way to deal with the “war room” is to overwhelm them with lots of charges and lots of evidence. That will drive them crazy, keep them up for days without sleep, and make them more likely to make really stupid mistakes. Then they will start pointing fingers at each other—and the campaign will degenerate into chaos.
Imho the Trump campaign knows this, and it is their plan to crash the Biden campaign war room.

At this point, what difference does it make. Land will slide. Trump will win. Snowflakes will melt. Butt heads will riot. Deep state will plot assassination of Trump. Will they succeed? I hope not. Biden? Joe Biden? Did he win his run for the Senate?
