We should all remember the first day of the “Month of Corn”, as the Aztecs called it.
The Aztecs were a very orderly people, even rigidly so. Their entire year was dictated to them by their calendar, which they believed to be perfect.

But, as they say, “there was trouble in river city”.
This trouble was that on their calendar, in a given year, on the 1st day of their month of Corn, the world was supposed to end. The god Quetzacoatl would visit ruin and destruction on the great Aztec empire, and there was nothing they could do to stop it.
In itself, this was actually a *double* problem, either the world ending, or almost as bad, their “perfect” calendar was proven wrong. If that was the case, enormous numbers of Aztecs, nobles, priests, and everybody else would be facing an incredible slaughter of human sacrifice.
So, needless to say, everybody was on pins and needles waiting for the big day. But right then, the unexpected happened. Runners came in from the coast, in a great state of panic.
In the morning, giant ships had come out of the Sun, and had crossed the ocean, and from them had disembarked monsters with six legs and shiny skin. Conquistadors in their armor, on horseback. When word reached their capital that Quetzacoatl had arrived, everyone figured they were good as dead.
Of course, once they arrived in the capital, within two weeks they had figured out they were *not* gods, but they, and their calendar, didn’t have a clue as to what they actually were. This failure caused a collective nervous breakdown.
Their civilization was broken beyond repair. Farmers didn’t know when to plant or harvest. Their system of wealth and class fell apart. A large number of them gave up trying to do anything. Deadly stagnation.
Even their surviving descendants are pretty hopeless, having no connection with their old ways or modern civilization.
But what does any of this have to do with UFOs?
We may be just as confidently rigid in our western civilization. What if space aliens defy *our* standards of reality?
Friendly, benign or hostile, it doesn’t really matter what they aliens think, compared to how *we* react to the true unknown. Certainly, I doubt most of us could handle it.

Sounds to me he was implying some UFO sighted might be part of our military rather than threatening aliens.

UFOs have been around for a long time. Examples: Foo Fighters of WWII. My father said he saw an unusual flying object when he was a kid before WWI. For someone living before the mechanical age, Ezekiel gives a pretty good description of some sort of a helicopter.

Amazing..even my trade magazine for the boating Industry is falling for the crap. I’m a retired boating executive, but I keep up with the trade.
Is there intelligent life on other planets? I'm not sure, but if they down to visit Washington DC, and saw AOC, Maxine, Nancy, Chucky and other Dems, they might say no intelligent life here!!!
